Once a username is assigned to an account, it cannot be changed.
However, a username is only used to log into an account. If your name or email address needs to be changed, this can be done in the 'Profile' section of your account, which can be accessed using the link shown in the image below:
Be aware that these changes will only affect training courses that have not been started - the name that is on the account when a training course is started is the name that will be printed on the certificate.
If you are struggling to remember your username, we recommend either storing the username in a password manager so that it can be autofilled when required, or creating a learner account with a different username and assigning your training to that account. This can be done by selecting 'My Learners' at the top of any page, then clicking on the 'Add Learner' button:
Once a new user has been created, a training course or bundle can be assigned to them using the "Assign" button on the right:
Once assigned, the training can be completed by logging into this newly-created account.
If you are managing a learner who is struggling to remember their username, it may be possible to unassign a training course from their account and assign it to a new one with a different username. This can only be done if the training course has not been started.
To do so, click the plus symbol to the left of their name, which will open a list of all of the courses and bundles assigned to their account:
To unassign a course or bundle from their account, click the 'View Details' link next to the course you would like to remove, and click the 'Unassign' button in the window that appears:
Once a course or bundle has been unassigned, and a new user created using the instructions shown above, the training can be assigned to a new account.
